The Advaita Centre is under direction of dr. Douwe Tiemersma and has three programs, which complete, support and reinforce each other.

1. The Program Advaita Spiritual Path
The activities of this program aim at the practical aspects of the development of insight and the realisation of non-duality. They are organised by Stichting Openheid.

Stichting Openheid is focused on the promotion of the non-dual Openness and it does this by organizing meetings / satsangs with Douwe Tiemersma and by publishing his talks and texts. It is not affiliated to any institution or tradition. There is a natural affinity with paths of thought in which the Openness is the centre, for instance with the Advaita Vedânta, with its notion of the identity of Self (Âtman) and the primal foundation of the world (Brahman).
